This is the second time rebooting LOTH. Two posts in 2007. One post in 2012. Nothing in between. Fifteen years ago, I started in a pretty dark place but have traveled far since then.

I used to think of Life On The Hard as a metaphor for being stuck out of my element and broken. I can no longer relate to that feeling. Over the last few years, I’ve reinvented myself physically, emotionally, and professionally.

Looking forward, I’d like to use this to track my travels. Mostly I’ll cover notable weekend hikes and vacations but I may delve into philosophical travels periodically because… why not?
